The purpose of this district is to provide for development of quality multiple-family living in a moderately dense setting, at a density not to exceed 10 units per acre. This district is further intended to encourage efficient utilization of land, affordable housing opportunities, open space preservation, and traditional neighborhood development, through pedestrian-friendly, suitable residential neighborhoods, protected from incompatible uses and with necessary facilities and services.
